Registry Browser

This FAR plugin allows to do with registry keys and values exactly the same things as with directories and files: view, edit, create, copy and change their properties. Keys are viewed/edited in the standard .REG format.

• Open and browse your registry, .reg files and hives in the same form,
• edit keys as text files with automatic export and import,
• see their modification time and sort them by this time,
• directly jump to a key by its path pasted from clipboard (using the cd command) and quick jump to predefined keys using FAR user menu or keyboard macros,
• see default values for all subkeys simultaneously and sort subkeys by their default values,
• enjoy FAR integration (sort keys by different ways, do global replace, enjoy features of other plugins such as regular expressions),
• export binary values as binary files,
• watch your keys and values auto-refreshed,
• export keys from remote computers to .reg files

This plugin works more correctly than native Regedit from NT/2000/XP/Vista ;)
Try the following with Regedit: export a key with a string value containing carriage return/new line characters, then delete this value, and import the key back. You will lose the value! Then do the same with this plugin with "Use Regedit" turned off...
Note that the Win98 version of Regedit worked OK.

WMI Plugin

This plugin browses the structure of WMI classes, objects, properties and methods on a local or remote computer. It displays this as an archive or directory on FAR panel.

You may do all standard FAR operations with WMI items, such as sort, view or export. No editing is supported.

Select-from-Clipboard

This plugin allows to "paste" selection onto a panel from the Windows clipboard.
When you press the key (e.g. Alt-Shift-Ins), files and folders with names contained in the clipboard become selected in the current panel.

Description Search/Select

This plugin allows you:

• to search files/dirs by their descriptions just like Alt+letter speed search;
• to select/unselect files by their descriptions.
